The Hidden Costs Behind Budget Personalized Books
When purchasing from budget print services like Dinkleboo, buyers should watch for three unexpected cost factors:
1. Mandatory Delivery Surcharges: The headline promotional price frequently excludes delivery. A $14.99 book frequently costs $27 to $35 by the time standard shipping and handling are calculated. 2. Thin Softcover Stock: The entry-level edition is printed on thin paper that folds easily. Upgrading to a sturdier format adds another $5 to $10. 3. No Free Digital Access: If physical delivery is delayed in transit, parents have no online reader or audio companion to share with their child on their birthday.
