Frequently asked questions about Premium plans
Can my child read the story if I don't buy Premium?
Yes. Every story is free to read and listen to without signing in. Premium adds your child’s name, family voices, supported name illustrations, and offline access; it does not lock the story library.
How are parents' voices created?
You record about 20 seconds of your voice right on the web (Family Voice section on the account page). The original recording is kept private, used only to create a voice for your own account, and is deleted when you delete that voice.
What happens if the plan expires?
Personalized features pause when the plan ends: narration returns to the standard version, names no longer appear in supported illustrations, and new offline downloads are unavailable. Every story remains free to read and listen to.
Is there an automatic deduction for future payments?
Billing behavior is shown clearly in Polar Checkout before payment. If a product renews, Polar displays the interval and provides a customer portal for subscription management; one-time products do not renew.
