Stories help children form good habits every day
Habits are not formed from the child understanding the reason, but from the child doing it enough times in a stable sequence. The role of a story is to make a boring thing have character and rhythm — so that the twentieth time your child will still be interested. The stories here are related to everyday events, so children have the opportunity to practice right away.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take for your child to get a new habit?
For preschoolers, it's usually two to four weeks of repetition in the same sequence. The deciding factor is the stability of the sequence, not the number of repetitions.
The child can do it for a few days and then quit, is that a failure?
Are not. It's normal to slow down. Go back to the old routine without commenting on what your child has given up, because comments turn the habit into a matter of winning or losing for adults.
How many habits should I practice at the same time?
One habit at a time. Preschool children can only keep one new order in their head, so practicing two or three things in parallel often leads to no one becoming a routine. Once the first task has run on its own without anyone prompting, it's time to add the next task.
